My Story
I am a coach specialised in transition and the founder of Ibalance.
With over 15 years’ experience within large international companies as well as my own business, I am focused on helping people at pivotal points in their working lives.
Originally from Switzerland, I have lived in France, Switzerland, Australia and United Arab Emirates. I am now based in the Canton de Vaud area of Switzerland.
During my life I have experienced a series of successful transitions including bereavement, changes in location, expatriations, and reconversions. It is now my mission to support others in their journey.
I grew up between France and Switzerland and I guess this is probably where my interest in cultural differences was born.
I began working for a major company leader in sport and cultural event organisation. The hours were long, I was travelling a great deal and as a result I was subject to stress myself. The pressure was challenging, and I managed my first change in career a few years later.
Following this I worked in the HR department of a large FMCG company where I was in charge of managing mobility and expatriation processes. In parallel I spent six years training to become a Somatic Therapy Practitioner (Grinberg Method) as well as a coach (ICF) specialising in stress management arising from change. I opened my first practice in 2005.
In early 2014 I left Switzerland to follow my husband to Dubai where I lived with my family for 5 years.
It was there that I founded Ibalance by Virginie Gossart, and I now provide a flexible range of career coaching services and workshops, both in English and French, for companies, their employees and their families as well as for private clients.
